About

Art Circle Public Library is the cultural heart of Crossville — a stunning 35,000-square-foot building completed in 2010 from local Crab Orchard stone with craftsman-style detailing. At its center, the two-and-a-half-story Carol Darling Reading Room is framed by second-floor balconies and historical murals by Nashville artist Keith Tucker. Visitors find a Young Adult room, a Children's Library themed as a County Fair with hand-carved carousel animals, a café, a used bookstore, two pianos, and meeting rooms open to the public. Beyond books, the library hosts a packed calendar of free concerts, author talks, story times, knitting circles, art workshops, and Imagination Library programs for kids — a true community gathering place where literacy, art, and history come together on Crossville's downtown skyline.
